Paying, renewing, and why the price does not change

Services are payable in advance, by month or by year, and renew tacitly at the same price. That last sentence is the only commercial promise we make, and this guide explains exactly what it covers.

The principle

As the due date approaches, an invoice is issued and you are notified by email. Once payment is made, the next period begins with no interruption of service.

All invoices can be viewed and downloaded from your client area, in the invoices section. They stay there: you do not have to archive them yourself to find them again.

The price does not move

The price paid at sign-up is the price paid at renewal.

First period Renewal Third year
The market's common practice Very low teaser rate Markedly higher Higher still
At Kardox Media The displayed price The same The same

There is no teaser rate, no first-period discount followed by an increase, no small-print "price after renewal" line. A change in rates can only concern future orders — never a subscription in progress. It is written in our terms of service, in the chapter on prices.

Nor are there any setup fees, processing fees, or cancellation fees.

Payment methods

Common payment methods are accepted, and the exact list is shown at the payment step. No card data passes through our servers. See Accepted payment methods.

Renewal

Subscriptions renew tacitly, for a period identical to the one chosen at the start. There is therefore nothing to do to stay.

To not renew, simply cancel before the term: cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, with no notice and no justification — see Canceling your subscription.

Monthly or yearly

Monthly Yearly
Flexibility Maximum One paid period committed
Number of invoices Twelve a year One
Number of due dates to watch Twelve One

The choice can be changed at a renewal: ask for it in a ticket before the due date.

If an invoice remains unpaid

A reminder is sent first, then the service is suspended, and finally terminated if nothing moves. The data is kept for the planned retention period before deletion.

A suspension for non-payment is lifted as soon as payment is made, and the site comes back. A termination, on the other hand, eventually leads to the deletion of the data. The difference between the two often comes down to a single message.

In case of difficulty

A temporary difficulty is better resolved before the due date than after. A ticket is enough: we much prefer a due date shifted by mutual agreement to an automatic reminder followed by a cut-off.
