Ordering takes a few minutes; activation is immediate. This guide describes what to prepare, the three steps of the order, what you receive afterwards, and the order in which to take the first steps.
What to prepare
Three things are enough, but all three matter.
| What you need | Why |
|---|---|
| An email address you actually check | It carries the activation email, the renewal notices, and the alerts. An abandoned address is the leading cause of bad surprises. |
| A domain name, bought or to be bought | The hosting stores the site; the domain says where to find it. The two are distinct. |
| An idea of the project's size | The number of sites to host settles the question of the plan almost every time. |
Choosing the plan
Three plans are offered. They differ in the number of sites, the NVMe disk space, the monthly traffic, the MySQL databases, and the email accounts.
| Plan | Who it is for |
|---|---|
| Starter | A single site: a showcase, a blog, a project getting started. |
| Pro | Several sites: an established activity, a site and its satellites. |
| Business | A fleet of sites: an agency, several activities, hosted clients. |
The exact specifications and rates are displayed on the order page, and that is where they are authoritative. We do not copy them here: a figure copied into a guide always ends up ageing without warning.
The choice is not final. A plan can be changed in either direction, at any time — see Changing plans.
The three steps
- Choosing the plan, from the home page or the order page.
- Configuration: you state the domain name to use, whether it comes from us or from elsewhere.
- Payment, which forms the contract.
At this last step, you request immediate performance of the service. That is what allows activation without delay, and it is also what ends the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided — Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code expressly provides for it, and our terms of service restate it.
Paying
Common payment methods are accepted; the exact list is shown at the payment step. No card data passes through or is stored on our servers: entry happens with our payment provider. Bank transfer is accepted on request.
The subscription is monthly or yearly, with no minimum term, no setup fee, and no cancellation fee. See Accepted payment methods.
Activation
Activation is automatic as soon as payment is received. You then receive an email that summarizes the order and contains the information needed to go live.
That message is the most important document in your file. It carries the values to enter at your registrar if you are connecting a domain bought elsewhere, as well as the access details specific to your hosting. Those values differ from one service to another: that is why no guide publishes them.
Keep that email, and forward it to no one. It contains credentials. If you must share it with a contractor, pass along only the line they need.
The first steps, in order
- Connect your domain name, if the domain comes from elsewhere.
- Let propagation run its course: everything else depends on it.
- Check that the
https://address responds — the certificate is issued on its own once the domain points the right way. - Upload your site, or install it.
- Create your professional email addresses.
- Set up your own backup copy — see Understanding backups.
Afterwards
Your service appears in the client area, under services. That is where renewal, plan changes, and cancellation are managed.
If something blocks you, open a ticket stating the domain name concerned: that is the piece of information that saves the most time.
